■ Kynthelig: Kas’ pet and guardian. Kynth is an extraterrestrial creature that takes the shape of a big panther whenever he is in his physical form. His soul is bound to a pair of crystal earrings kas always will be seen carrying, and he isn’t able to move very far away from these, which means he usually is close to Kas but can be taken away if the earrings are. He has his physical form, and an invisible passive form that makes him able to pass through objects and walls but unable to move/touch any form of matter.

Despite mostly coming off as an arrogant brat, Kas still has the ability to fit into any social group that he might find himself required to be in. He hates daily routines and the feeling of being stuck in the same loop, and will often throw away friends and lovers just as fast as he gain them in order for each day to be different. Due to his past and not being very trustworthy himself, he has little to no trust in others, and while he will claim he does at times, usually he only relies on himself.
He has enough trust in his own abilities to get by, and even after repeated failures or defeats he stays hopeful for the future. If he helps people or treats them nicely, usually it’s because of what he can get out of it himself.

■ Background:

Kas grew up in a wealthy family with a human father and succubus mother. His mother, owning several businesses, was the one who took care of the family’s needs, and while kas grew up having everything he could ever want, he still lacked his parents presence a big part of his childhood. He turned to other adults and children for the much needed attention, and would soon enough start using his family’s status to buy the love and attention he wouldn’t be able to get for free. This surrounded Kas with the wrong kind of crowds, and in his early teenage years, Kas was already living a life full of criminality and destructive behaviour.

Eventually this lead to consequences, as Kas was betrayed and nearly killed by his first lover for the sake of money. The betrayal ended up in a fight between the two and Kas accidentally becoming a murderer, and to avoid legal prosecution, he decided to flee the country and take a new name - something that was only possible because of his mother’s help.
Having his mom coming from Indieville herself, Kas was sent overseas to live there and hopefully get his life back together again.
